NEW
PROFIT CENTER FOR RESORTS
Now
you can make a valuable insurance program available to frequent
skiers. Once you sign up, you can begin earning revenue. Here, you'll
find everything you need to help your customers insure their season
passes (cross-country or downhill).
Benefits
for Passholders:
coverage
for partial or complete loss of pass use
coverage for emergency evacuation expenses
coverage
for accidental death & dismemberment
Benefits
for Ski Resorts:
additional source of revenue
no red tape or administrative duties
fewer requests for refunds due to medical reasons
The
cost is 6% of the pass price payable by consumers directly to Skier
Insurance Services. You will earn 10% of the cost of coverage for
each enrollment generated by your resort. All you need to do is:
add an insurance link to your web site
add an advertisement to your newsletters
add a brief message to confirmation letters
This
program complements your season pass offerings. Moreover, it
makes
life easier for your staff because sick or injured passholders
can be referred directly to Skier Insurance Services for claims
service. When a valid claim is filed we reimburse the passholder
for the
value of the unused portion of his/her season pass.
Passholders
who do not buy this coverage might still request refunds from your
operation, even though your documentation clearly states that passes
are non-refundable. However, it may be easier to deal with such
cases when Season Pass Insurance is available.
Emergency
Evacuation Insurance and Accidental Death/Dismemberment Insurance
are also provided while skiing at the resort which issues the season
pass. Thus, if an insured passholder is injured and needs emergency
transportation to the nearest hospital -- even by helicopter --
coverage up to $15,000 will be provided. In event of accidental
death or dismemberment while skiing, up to $10,000 will be paid.
Insurance is provided by National Union Fire Insurance Company
of Pittsburgh, PA.
Its
easy to get started. In fact, you can sign up online and begin without
delay! For more information, contact Amy Zink at 800/ 624-0039 or
